Eikedalen Ski Center is located in Samnanger municipality, at the entrance to Kvamskogen, the mountain plateau between Samnanger and Hardanger. The ski center has Northern Europe’s 10th longest chair lift.

The Oselvar workshop is located near Oselvo in Bjørnafjorden municipality. Here we take care of knowledge about the construction, use and repair of the Oselvar boat. The boat and the tradition are on UNESCO’s list of intangible cultural heritage.
Holdhus Church
Past memory
The church was probably built in the 1720s, with a richly decorated interior in strong colours, making it one of the finest post-reformation churches in Norway. Here is also a very special object from the 15th century: Norway’s only painted Madonna sculpture in stone.
Lysøen – Ole Bulls villa
Museum / Hiking trails
Ole Bull drew inspiration from all over the world for this house. Here there are carved roses of local origin, stars of David and Moorish books inside and a Russian onion dome as the most exotic view from the outside. Is currently closed due to renovations.

Vognhallenwas a workshop and bus garage for the earlier Osbanen, and is now used as a single culture arena. There is a built-in “common room” with space for exhibitions, a workshop/guest studio and an intimate stage.
